NOPD Arrests Suspect in Homicide Investigation

On August 24, 2023, the NOPD arrested Kenneth Saulsberry (black male, DOB: 12-19-2003) in the investigation of a homicide that occurred on February 28, 2023, at the intersection of Lake Forest Boulevard and Bundy Road.

At around 9:28 p.m. on February 28, NOPD Seventh District officers responded to a call of shots fired at the intersection of Lake Forest Boulevard and Bundy Road. Upon arrival, they discovered an adult male victim in a vehicle at the intersection and suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. The victim was transported via EMS to a local hospital, where he was later pronounced deceased.

On March 6, the Orleans Parish Coroner’s Office identified the victim as 32-year-old Bradley Glapion and determined cause of death to be from gunshot-related injuries.

As investigation into the incident progressed, NOPD Homicide Section detectives developed and positively identified Saulsberry as the perpetrator. Detectives then obtained an arrest warrant for Saulsberry for one count of second-degree murder.

Saulsberry was found to currently be incarcerated in the Orleans Parish Justice Center in connection with an unrelated shooting incident that occurred on April 4 in the 3500 block of Roger Williams Drive. Saulsberry was re-booked on October 24 on the second-degree murder charge.

All persons are presumed innocent until proven guilty.

Anyone with additional information on this incident is urged to contact NOPD Homicide Section detectives at 504-658-5300.
