NOPD Seeking Wanted Suspect in Attempted Murder Investigation

The NOPD has obtained an arrest warrant for Curtis Lloyd (pictured, DOB: 08-02-2001) in the investigation of an attempted homicide on October 5, 2020 in the 12100 block of North I-10 Service Road.

At about 11:52 a.m., NOPD Seventh District detectives were notified of a female victim having been shot at the listed location. Upon arrival, detectives discovered the victim sitting in a vehicle and having sustained multiple gunshot wounds. At that time, the victim told police that her ex-boyfriend, later positively identified as Lloyd, was the perpetrator.

An arrest warrant has been issued for Lloyd on charges of attempt murder and aggravated second-degree battery.
