Vehicle Reported Stolen from Louisa Street

The NOPD Third District is searching for a 2012 silver Hyundai Elantra that was reported stolen on October 2, 2017, from a parking lot in the 4300 block of Louisa Street.

The victim told police that at about 10:43 p.m., he was driving in his brother’s 2012 silver Hyundai Elantra bearing Louisiana license plate #102 AYV when he parked at the location to enter a store. The victim stated that he left the vehicle running with the key in the ignition while he went inside. As he was paying for the cigar at the register near the main entrance, the victim told police, he observed two unknown female subjects enter vehicle and flee the scene.

A picture is included of a vehicle similar in color, year, make and model to the vehicle reported stolen in this incident.
