The NOPD is seeking assistance in locating and identifying a suspect believed to be responsible for an auto burglary in the 800 block of St. Charles Avenue on October 6, 2017.
At about 9:19 a.m., the victim returned to his vehicle parked in the area to find that a weed trimmer tool was missing from the inside of his unlocked vehicle. A review of surveillance footage showed the pictured subject taking the tool from the vehicle. However, the subject was seen to have been disrupted during the incident, at which time he sat the tool on the ground and fled the scene on foot.
