Suspect Wanted for Principle in Relation to Shooting Battle on Roffignac Street

The NOPD Fifth District is looking to locate Jeremy Sellers (DOB: 07/26/1991) for principle to an aggravated assault with a firearm. 

The incident happened on Monday, July 17, 2017.  At about 5:15 p.m., Sellers transported an unknown subject to the 2400 block of Roffignac Street. The unknown subject then exited the vehicle and began to firing a semi-automatic weapon at multiple victims. The victims then returned fire and the unknown subject retreated back into the vehicle he arrived in with Sellers.

The victims then entered a white vehicle and pursued the wanted subject’s vehicle. Once the white vehicle caught up to the wanted subject’s vehicle, a gun battle ensued between the occupants of both vehicles.  At that time, one of the occupants in the white vehicle sustained multiple gunshot wounds to the body.
