The NOPD is looking to locate Joanell Moore (DOB: 06/23/1966) in connection with an armed robbery and aggravated battery incident that occurred earlier today (Oct. 4).
The victim told police Moore went to visit him at his home in the 1500 block of North Galvez Street. The victim stated Moore became angry when the victim asked her to leave because he was expecting company. Once the victim's company left the apartment, Moore then returned back to the location.
Once inside the residence, Moore armed herself with a knife from the kitchen. She then demanded the victim to give her money, but the victim refused to comply. Moore then stabbed the victim in his right knee, went into the victim’s pants pocket and removed approximately $55 dollars before fleeing the location.
