The NOPD is seeking assistance from the public in identifying and locating a man wanted for an armed robbery Thursday (Oct. 5) in the 400 block of Amethyst St.
The victim was exiting her car at about 9:41 p.m. when the pictured subject reportedly pointed what is believed to be a handgun at her. The subject robbed the victim of $25.00 in cash, then fled the scene in a blue 2014 Ford Fusion or Focus.
The subject is described as a black male in his late teens to early twenties, weighing 175 pounds, 5’8” in height and has a beard. The subject was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt with a red symbol on the right side and khaki pants. In the image pictured above, the subject was also wearing a light colored rain jacket.
