The NOPD is seeking to speak with a person of interest in a homicide that occurred on August 25, 2017, in the 2400 block of Athis Street.
At around 10:16 p.m., Third District officers responded to a call of an aggravated battery by shooting. Upon arrival, officers discovered two victims suffering from gunshot wounds. Both victims were transported by EMS to a local hospital. One of the victims later succumbed to his injuries.
As investigation into the incident progressed, detectives developed Allen Berry (DOB: 08-23-1992) as a person of interest who may have valuable information about the incident.
Allen is not wanted in connection with this incident, but is being sought for questioning.
