Person of Interest Sought in Attempted Homicide by Shooting on Chef Menteur Highway

The NOPD is seeking to speak with a person of interest in connection with an attempted homicide by shooting that occurred just before noon on Monday, Oct. 2, 2017 in the 6000 block of Chef Menteur Highway.

NOPD Seventh District detectives feel that Troy Richard (DOB: 03-03-1985) may have valuable information regarding this incident. Richard is wanted for questioning only.

Anyone with information regarding this incident or the whereabouts of Troy Richard is asked to contact Seventh District detectives at 504-658-6070. Citizens with information that can help solve crimes are asked to call Crimestoppers at 504-822-1111 or toll-free at 1-877-903-STOP.
