Person of Interest Sought in Armed Robbery at Pauger and North Rampart Streets

The NOPD is seeking to speak with a person of interest in connection with an armed robbery that occurred on October 1, 2017 near the intersection of Pauger and North Rampart streets.

The victim told police that at about 6:40 a.m., she parked her vehicle in the 1700 block of Pauger Street. Upon exiting the vehicle, the victim said, an unknown black male believed to be approximately 40 years old riding a dark colored bicycle passed by. The victim said she continued southbound to the intersection of Pauger and North Rampart streets. At that time, the victim said, the same unknown male approached her brandishing a handgun and allegedly threatened to shoot the victim if she did not give him her money. The victim complied and the subject fled on Pauger Street.

The pictured individual is not wanted in connection with this incident, but is believed to have information regarding this incident.
