A female victim was carjacked by gunpoint by two individuals in the 1000 block of Marigny Street on October 14, 2016. The incident was captured on surveillance video, and the NOPD is seeking assistance in identifying and locating the suspects.
At about 2:57 a.m., the victim told police, she was parking her car when she was approached from the driver’s side by an unknown individual. The subject relocated to the passenger side, when a second subject approached the driver’s side door. The victim told police that the second suspect then pointed a handgun at her and demanded she exit the vehicle. The victim got out of the vehicle and both subjects fled the scene in the vehicle.
