Ifunanya “Vivian” Anaekwe (DOB: 04-08-2000) was last seen on Oct. 1 at about 11:30 p.m., as she was attending an African party at the Southern University New Orleans’ Conference Center, located at 6400 Press Drive. Anaekwa reportedly met with two unknown males outside of the party whom she had invited through social media. The males were standing near a four-door black vehicle. Anaekwa’s sister told police that Anaekwe and another friend were going for a ride with the unknown males. However, the friend did not go with the group and Anaekwe left with the males. Anaekwe’s sister stated she contacted Anaekwe via cellphone asking her location, and Anaekwa responded that she was on her way back. The sister attempted to contact Anaekwa again, but the phone was turned off. Anaekwe also had in her possession her friend’s cellphone, which was tracked to the Poydras Street area and then turned off on Oct. 2 at about midnight.
Anaekwa is described as a black female standing 6’2” and weighing about 130 pounds. She was last seen wearing the dress in which she is pictured below.
