The NOPD is seeking assistance in identifying and locating a suspect in as well as a vehicle used in the commission of a shooting that occurred in the 0-10 block of Canal Street on September 25, 2023.
At about 12:02 a.m. on September 25, an incident occurred at the listed location where an unknown suspect fired upon two victims, striking both. The victims were transported to a local hospital for treatment of injuries.
Through investigation, NOPD Eighth District detectives have determined the pictured unknown black male to be the perpetrator in this incident. The subject was seen driving the pictured vehicle at the time of the incident. The vehicle is believed to be a silver BMW 3 Series, possibly between the model years of 2008-13.
