NOPD Identifies Suspects Wanted in Seventh District Shooting Investigation

NOPD Identifies Suspects Wanted in Seventh District Shooting Investigation

The NOPD has obtained arrest warrants for Michael Jones (pictured at left, black male, DOB: 01-28-1994) and Earl Sylvester (pictured at right, black male, DOB: 11-13-1985) in the investigation of an aggravated battery by shooting on November 13, 2021 in the 4800 block of Werner Drive.

Through investigation, NOPD Seventh District detectives determined that at about 9:13 p.m., a shooting took place at the listed location. As the investigation developed, detectives developed and positively identified Jones and Sylvester as the perpetrators in this incident.

Both suspects are wanted on one count of aggravated second-degree battery, three counts of aggravated assault with a firearm and one count of aggravated criminal damage. In addition, Sylvester is wanted separately for an aggravated assault incident that occurred on the same day at the same location.
