Listed below are arrests or clearances by warrant obtained between November 14-20, 2021 in violent crime investigations by the NOPD:
Homicide
- On November 19, NOPD Homicide Unit detectives obtained an arrest warrant for Donell James (pictured, black male, DOB: 01-15-1986) for one count each of second-degree murder and attempted second-degree murder. The incident occurred in the 400 block of North Galvez Street on October 13.
Shootings
- On November 14, NOPD Fourth District detectives obtained an arrest warrant for Michael Jones (not pictured, black male, DOB: 01-28-1994) and Earl Sylvester (not pictured, black male, DOB: 11-13-1985) for aggravated battery by shooting, aggravated criminal damage, two (2) counts of aggravated assault with a firearm and aggravated criminal damage. The incident occurred in the 4800 block of Werner Street on November 13.
- On November 20, NOPD Third District officers arrested Tiffany Davis (pictured, black female, DOB: 05-11-1993) for three (3) counts of aggravated battery by shooting. The incident occurred in the 3100 block of Elysian Fields Avenue on November 20.
Armed Robbery
- On November 12, NOPD Second District officers arrested a 16-year-old juvenile male for armed robbery. The incident occurred in the 3900 block of Dublin Street on November 12.
- On November 14, NOPD Third District detectives arrested Kadeem Romain (pictured, black male, DOB: 01-05-2000) and Shawn Winding (pictured, black male, DOB: 10-06-2003) for attempted armed robbery, aggravated battery, and possession of stolen property. Officers also obtained an arrest warrant on Kenneth Bell (not pictured, DOB: 03-26-1998). The incident occurred in the 2000 block of Gentilly Boulevard on November 16.
- On November 16, NOPD Eighth District detectives arrested Tamaj Fazande (pictured, black male, DOB: 03-28-2003) for armed robbery and obtained an arrest warrant for Tyrone Clayton (not pictured, black male, DOB: 02-07-1997) for armed robbery. The incidents occurred in the 200 block of St. Charles Avenue and 600 block of Poydras Street on November 16.
