NOPD Seeking Persons of Interest in Seventh District Homicide

The NOPD is seeking assistance in locating two individuals sought for questioning as persons of interest in the investigation of a homicide of Drake Donahue that occurred on September 29, 2019 in the 7600 block of Anne Marie Court.

At approximately 4:33 a.m., two male subjects were reportedly sitting in a vehicle when they allegedly observed two unknown black males wearing masks and gloves coming from the backyard of the residence. The suspects then reportedly opened fire on the vehicle.

One of the victims was able exit the vehicle and fled the scene on foot. The second victim, later identified by the Orleans Parish Coroner’s Office as Donahue, sustained multiple gunshot wounds and was transported via EMS to a local hospital, where he later died from his injuries.

The depicted persons of interest are not considered to be suspects at this time. However, detectives feel these individuals may have information vital to the investigation.
