WANTED: NOPD Identifies Suspects in Aggravated Battery on Decatur Street

The NOPD has obtained arrest warrants for Matthew Adam Vining (pictured above at top left, DOB: 03-10-1995), Stone Michael Linden (pictured above at top right, DOB: 05-28-1995) and Bobby Lee McCollister (pictured above at center, DOB: 12-21-1994) in connection with an aggravated battery incident that occurred on November 4, 2018 in the 1400 block of Decatur Street.

The victim was reportedly driving his vehicle in the 1400 block of Decatur Street at about 1:45 a.m. when he came to a stop to allow someone to exit. As the victim attempted to drive off, three unknown male subjects reportedly stood in the street and refused to move, blocking his path of travel. The victim reportedly used his vehicle horn to gain the individuals’ attention, at which time the male subjects began shouting toward the victim.  The victim then reportedly exited his vehicle, at which time the three male subjects allegedly attacked the victim and repeatedly struck the victim with closed fists, kicks, a beer bottle and brass knuckles, reportedly causing him to fall to the ground and lose consciousness.

When located, the suspects will be arrested for aggravated second degree battery.
