Suspect Sought in Eighth District Armed Robbery

NOPD officers are seeking assistance from the public in identifying and locating the pictured subject, who is wanted in connection with an Eighth District armed robbery incident.

The victim told police that on November 2, 2018, at or around 9:45 p.m., he parked his vehicle on Touro Street and exited it. The victim stated that he began walking toward Burgundy Street when he was approached from the front by a subject armed with a gun, who demanded his property. The victim complied and gave the suspect cash from his wallet. The suspect then fled the scene on foot.

The perpetrator is described as a black male, approximately 6’0 tall with a thin beard. The subject was last seen wearing a green hooded sweat shirt, jeans and a white t-shirt.
