Subject Wanted for Simple Burglary on Rev. John Raphael Jr. Way

NOPD officers are searching for the pictured subject after she was accused of being in illegal possession of a stolen refrigerator.

On October 31, 2018, Sixth District officers were driving near the intersection of Rev. John Raphael Jr. Way and Josephine Street, when they observed the pictured subject leaning on a large cardboard box.

A witness in the area advised officers that someone was attempting to steal a refrigerator from a residence located in the 2100 block of Rev. John Raphael Jr. Way.

Officers relocated to the residence and met with the owner of the property to inform her of the incident and learned that the refrigerator located near her property belonged to her.

Officers conducted a search of the property and observed the back door was open and the side window of the rear bathroom had been broken.

During the course of the investigation, officers positively identified April Terrebonne (DOB: 12/09/1985) as a suspect in this incident.
