NOPD Identifies Subject in Aggravated Battery by Cutting on N. Claiborne Avenue

NOPD officers are searching for the pictured subject after he was accused of committing an aggravated battery by cutting incident that occurred in the 3100 block of North Claiborne Avenue.

The victim told police that on November 5, 2018, he was walking toward a cafe in the area when he came in contact with the pictured subject. The subject allegedly produced a knife and cut the victim, before fleeing the scene.

During the course of the investigation, Joe Humphrey (DOB: 10/29/1975) was positively identified as the perpetrator in this incident. Humphrey was last seen wearing a dark colored hoodie, blue jeans and black and white tennis shoes.
