NOPD officers have arrested Joroid Simms (DOB: 08/15/1976) in connection with a domestic aggravated assault incident that occurred in the 7400 block of Farwood Drive.
On November 4, 2018, Simms reportedly engaged in a physical altercation with the victim and her daughter. Simms then allegedly began firing shots at the victims as they fled the scene.
The subject initially fled the location when officers arrived, only to return three hours later when he was apprehended. Simms was transported to the Orleans Parish Justice Center, where he was booked accordingly.
