The NOPD Homicide Unit is looking to locate a black Nissan Maxima used in a homicide that occurred in the 7700 block of West Laverne Drive.

The incident happened on October 28, 2017.  At about 9:11 a.m., Seventh District officers responded to a call of shots fired in the area. Upon arrival, officers discovered 49-year-old Gregory Hilliard inside of a white vehicle suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. 

Surveillance video in the area showed a black Nissan Maxima approach the white vehicle in the area.

As the Maxima approached the white vehicle, multiple shots were fired from the Maxima toward the white vehicle. The driver of the Maxima then continues northbound on West Laverne and drives to Wales Street and then turns left toward Downman Road.

The vehicle has a sunroof with a sunroof guard. It appears that the vehicle also has a paper plate in place of the license plate and has a brake light out on the passenger side of the vehicle.
