Suspect Wanted for Theft in First District

The NOPD is seeking assistance with identifying and locating a subject who is wanted in a theft of a package in an incident that occurred in the 3300 block of Desoto Street on Thursday, (Nov. 2).

At about 6:21 p.m. the victim told police she was informed her package was delivered to the front porch of her residence. The victim returned home and discovered her package was missing from the residence. The individual reviewed her surveillance footage, at which time she observed an unknown male approach her porch and took the package.

The subject was riding a light blue bicycle and fled the scene heading northbound on Desoto Street towards Moss Street. The suspect was wearing a long sleeve black and white striped Polo shirt, dark jeans and tennis shoes.
