NOPD Identifies Suspect Wanted for Aggravated Battery on Roffignac Street

The NOPD Fifth District is searching for Aeren “Ace” Rogers (DOB: 03/13/91) after he fired his weapon at multiple victims on July 17, 2017.

At about 5:15 p.m., Rogers was transported to the 2400 block of Roffignac Street where he exited the vehicle and began firing a semi-automatic weapon at multiple victims. The victims then returned fire and Rogers retreated back into the vehicle he arrived in with Jeremy Sellers.

During the incident, one of the victims sustained multiple gunshot wounds to the body.

Through the course of the investigation, Detective Chad Cockerham positively identified Rogers as the suspect. Rogers is wanted for aggravated assault with a firearm, illegal discharge of a weapon and felon in possession of a firearm.
