NOPD Superintendent Michael Harrison, Mayor Mitch Landrieu and City officials recognized dozens of NOPD officers for their outstanding work in the line of duty this year at the 2016 Fall Awards Medal Ceremony Tuesday night (Nov. 22).
Officers were nominated by their peers and supervisors and selected to receive an award by the NOPD Awards Committee. Among the awards officers will receive include Medal of Merit, Medal of Commendation, Medal of Achievement, Letters of Commendation and a Unit Citation Achievement.
