The NOPD is seeking a person of interest in connection with an auto burglary which occurred in the 500 block of Chartres Street on October 17, 2016.
At about 5:40 p.m., Eighth District officers responded to the scene after the victim had called to report his vehicle had been burglarized. Upon arrival, officers discovered the rear passenger window of the vehicle had been shattered. The victim said that a backpack containing a laptop computer and iPad Pro were missing from the vehicle, as well as a suitcase belonging to the victim’s girlfriend containing clothes, a second iPad Pro and a Nintendo DS video game system.
Police believe that Arties Manning (DOB: 12-07-1990) may have information pertaining to the incident and wish to speak with him. Manning is not wanted in connection with this incident at this time.
