The NOPD is investigating a homicide today (Nov.8) in the 7600 block of Shorewood Boulevard.
At around 6:20 p.m., Seventh District officers received calls of an aggravated battery by shooting in the area. When officers arrived, they observed a male victim in his 20s suffering from multiple gunshot wounds along the street. The victim was pronounced dead on scene by EMS.
The Orleans Parish Coroner’s Office will release the identity of the deceased victim and the official cause of death.
