UPDATE: On May 22, the NOPD arrested Brandon Mitchell (male, DOB: 11-15-2000) in this investigation. Mitchell was booked on one count of simple battery.
ORIGINAL: The New Orleans Police Department is requesting the public’s assistance in locating the pictured suspect wanted in connection with a battery Eighth District.
Investigators obtained video of the battery. Please Note: This video contains graphic content.
The offense occurred on May 20,2023, in the 700 block of St. Louis Street.
According to investigators, the suspect entered the business, attacked the employee from behind, dragging him outside and continued to hit the victim with his fist.
