The NOPD is requesting the public’s assistance in locating a vehicle of interest and its occupant(s) at the time of the commission of an aggravated battery by shooting on May 25, 2022, at the intersection of Gentilly Boulevard and Venus Street.
At about 5:33 p.m., NOPD Third District officers responded to the location and found a male gunshot wound victim inside of a vehicle that had crashed into a tree. The victim was transported via EMS to a local hospital for treatment.
The pictured blue truck, possibly a Toyota Tacoma, was seen in the area at the time of the incident and is believed to be involved.
