The NOPD is seeking assistance in locating those responsible for a vehicle theft incident on May 17, 2021 in the 4300 block of Louisa Street.
At about 10:23 p.m., the pictured red 2019 Kia Optima bearing Louisiana license plate 829-EEN (reported stolen in May 17 incident in 2000 block of Ursulines Avenue) was used by at least two suspects in the commission of a vehicle theft. One subject exited the passenger side of the Kia and allegedly pointed a firearm at the victim, who was pumping gas. During this interaction, another suspect entered the victim’s blue Dodge Ram bearing Louisiana license plate C179819. The suspects fled the scene in both vehicles.
