Vehicle Reported Stolen in Third District Armed Robbery

The NOPD is seeking to locate a vehicle reported stolen in an armed robbery on May 16, 2019 in the 4200 block of Baudin Street, as well as the suspect responsible.

The victim told police that on May 16, 2019 at about 11:00 a.m., he parked his 2007 Ford F-150 pickup truck bearing Louisiana license plate X338474 in the 4200 block of Baudin Street. The victim added that as he attempted to enter his residence, an unknown black male believed to be in his 20s, exited from the rear of a dark colored SUV with an attached bicycle on the tailgate. The subject then allegedly pointed a hand gun to the back of the victim’s head and ordered the victim to the ground. The subject then reportedly took the victim’s keys and fled the location in the victim’s truck, followed by the SUV.

A picture is included of the actual vehicle reported stolen in this incident. The victim reported that he had removed the vehicle’s license plate prior to the incident.
