NOPD officers are seeking assistance from the public in identifying and locating two females who are wanted for their alleged involvement in a property snatching incident that occurred in the Eighth District.
On May 5, 2019 around 1 a.m., the victim met two unknown females while at a bar located on Bourbon Street. The victim reportedly asked the subjects to give him a ride to his vehicle which was parked in the 300 block of Front Street.
While in route to the vehicle, the victim reportedly asked the driver to let him out of the vehicle, at which time the subject pulled over and demanded the victim’s cellphone, but the victim refused.
The victim was exiting the vehicle when the second subject allegedly exited the vehicle and snatched the victim’s cellphone from his hand. The subject reentered the vehicle and both subjects fled the scene.
