NOPD Arrests Suspect in Multiple Vehicle Burglaries in Fourth District

The NOPD has arrested Corey Myles (DOB: 3-3-1995) in the investigatios of multiple vehicle burglaries that occurred in the Fourth District.

On Wednesday, April 24, 2019, multiple vehicle burglaries occurred in the Tall Timbers Extension and Historic Algiers Point neighborhoods. On Thursday, May 2, 2019, a second wave of burglaries occurred in the Elmwood Park neighborhood.

Through investigation, Fourth District detectives identified Corey Myles as one of the perpetrators, and obtained multiple warrants for his arrest.

On Monday, May 13, 2019, Fourth District Task Force officers located and apprehended Myles in the 3400 block of Garden Oaks Drive. Myles was transported to the Orleans Justice Center, where he was booked with (17) seventeen counts of simple burglary, (15) fifteen counts of simple criminal damage to property, and (2) two counts of theft of a firearm.
