Suspect Wanted for Armed Robbery by Knife at Drugstore

Suspect Wanted for Armed Robbery by Knife at Drugstore

The NOPD is seeking assistance in locating and identifying the pictured suspect wanted for an armed robbery incident at the Rite Aid drugstore.

The incident happened on May 23, 2018. At around 1:16 p.m., the pictured suspect entered the store located in the 3100 block of Gentilly Boulevard and then stood in the cashier line for several seconds before removing a knife from his right leg. The suspect then proceeded to the register and demanded the store employee open the register.

The employee complied and the suspect removed approximately $120.00 from the register before fleeing the location.

The perpetrator is described as being a black male, between the ages of 20 to 25, with a small twist hairstyle. He has numerous tattoos on both arms and was seen wearing glasses during the incident. The suspect was seen wearing a white t-shirt, black cargo shorts and black socks with black shoes.
