NOPD Searching for Suspects, Vehicle Involved in Armed Robbery in First District

The NOPD is searching for two suspects and a vehicle believed to have been utilized in the commission of an armed robbery on May 12, 2018 at the intersection of North Tonti and Bienville Street.

At about 3:30 a.m., the driver of the pictured black Toyota Camry reportedly picked up the victim at the intersection of St. Peter and Royal streets in the Eighth District, before allegedly robbing the victim at gunpoint with an unknown black male in the 300 block of North Tonti Street, near Bienville Street.

The driver was described as a black female possibly in her 40s with a thin build, wearing a leopard print or multi-colored shirt.

The second suspect is described as a black male with a medium build, standing about 5’10” and wearing all black clothing.
