NOPD Searching for Suspect in Attempted Murder Incident on Eunice Drive

The NOPD has obtained an arrest warrant for Saba Sabue Butler (DOB: 01-09-1974) in connection with a shooting incident that occurred on May 16, 2018 in the 4700 block of Eunice Drive.

At about 11:25 p.m., Butler is believed to have been involved in a domestic altercation with the victim at a residence in the area. During the altercation, Butler allegedly produced a handgun and fired it multiple times, striking the victim multiple times. The victim was transported to an area hospital, where they are currently listed in critical condition.

Butler is described as a black male standing about 5’6” and weighing about 160 pounds with black hair. He is believed to be driving a light brown/tan 2012 Chevrolet Silverado truck bearing Louisiana license plate # B944510.

When located, Bulter will be arrested for attempted murder, aggravated assault with a firearm, aggravated criminal damage to property, simple robbery and domestic battery.
