The NOPD is searching for a subject wanted in connection with an attempted domestic homicide in the Seventh District.
On Monday, May 7, 2018 after making repeated threats to kill the victim and himself, the wanted subject, identified as Steven Donald Grant (B/M DOB: 5/6/1986), shot the victim while she was lying in bed.
The incident occurred around 6 a.m. in the 9400 block of Dinkins Street.
The subject has communicated a threat to kill himself and would fire at officers if located.
Grant is considered armed and extremely dangerous.
Grant’s last known address was in the 7000 block of Boston Street.
Grant is believed to be driving a newer model sliver Nissan Altima, bearing a Louisiana temporary tag.
