Vehicle Reported Stolen in Armed Carjacking on Bullard Avenue

Vehicle Reported Stolen in Armed Carjacking on Bullard Avenue

The NOPD is seeking assistance in locating a vehicle that was reported to have been stolen during an armed carjacking on May 29, 2017 in the 5400 block of Bullard Avenue.

The victim told police that, at about 9:10 p.m., he entered his gold 2006 Honda Accord bearing Louisiana license plate # ZCU272 at the location when he was approached by an unknown black male who produced a firearm and ordered the victim to exit the vehicle. The victim complied and the subject drove away in the vehicle heading south on Bullard Avenue.

The suspect is described as a black male with a dark complexion, standing about 5’11” with a thin build and moustache. He was last seen wearing a navy blue hooded jacket with the hood pulled tightly around his face.

The vehicle is also described as having a “Bricolage” sticker on the rear passenger side quarter panel.
