UPDATE: One of Two Wanted Suspects Arrested for Armed Robberies in the Seventh District

Seventh District detectives have arrested a 16-year-old male in connection with two separate armed robberies. The arrested subject is the individual wearing the white hoodie in the attached photo.

Our previous story:

Seventh District detectives are looking for two suspects wanted in connection with two separate armed robberies.

On May 16, 2017, a victim in the 4900 block of Treves Street reported that an armed gunman robbed her of her gray 2014 Honda CRV. She reported that she parked in her driveway and exited her vehicle, then was approached by an unknown male wearing khaki pants, white tennis shoes, a dark colored jacket with light colored sleeves and a gray hood over his face. He demanded her keys and she complied. The perpetrator then drove off in her vehicle.

On May 17, 2017, a woman reported that she was robbed at gunpoint by two unknown males. She stated that two males – one wearing a white hoodie and a mask and the other wearing a black hoodie and a mask – entered her store in the 13200 block of Chef Menteur Highway. One of the males pointed a gun at the victim, demanding she give them her cash. The victim complied and the perpetrators fled with approximately $800.

Through follow up investigation of those events, it is believed that the same perpetrators committed both robberies, and the vehicle being utilized is the gray 2014 Honda CRV taken in the first robbery.

If you have information about either of these events or the identity of the two pictured suspects please contact any Seventh District detective at 504-658-6070.
