Suspect Sought for Attempted Burglary on Ursulines

NOPD needs the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect in an attempted burglary in the 900 block of Ursulines Avenue.

On May 12, 2017, at approximately 7:40 p.m., the victim reported that he heard someone attempting to push in his air conditioning window unit through his bedroom window. He then ran to the front door of his home and looked out, where he noticed an unknown black male. The suspect then fled down the street.

The suspect is described as a black male, approximately 5'10” tall with curly hair. He was wearing a short red jacket and an unknown color hat.
