The NOPD is searching for a suspect seen on surveillance video smashing a glass door to a leasing office and then taking rent envelopes from the floor.
The incident happened on May 3, 2017. At about 10:28 p.m., the unknown subject is seen on video using a hammer to smash out the glass door to the leasing office of an apartment complex located in the 4500 block of MacArthur Blvd. The subject was then seen on video reaching into the office and taking envelopes from the floor which contained rent payments. He then fled the location.
