Person of Interest Sought in Aggravated Assault at Franklin Avenue and North Villere Street

The NOPD is seeking assistance in locating a person of interest believed to have information regarding an aggravated assault that occurred on May 8, 2017 at the intersection of Franklin Avenue and North Villere Street.

At about 7:59 p.m. an unknown black male fired a handgun at a vehicle that was occupied by three victims, striking the vehicle several times. None of the victims sustained any injuries during the incident.

The unknown individual pictured above is considered as person of interest in the incident. The subject is not wanted for the aggravated assault. Detectives would like to speak with the individual concerning the incident.
