New Orleans Police are asking the public's assistance with locating a stolen boat.
According to investigators, the pictured boat was stolen from the 5200 block of Laurel Street at about 4:00 a.m. on March 23, 2024. Stolen was a 2020 Xplorer-brand 18' long boat with a Mercury-brand motor and carried on an EZ Loader-brand trailer. The boat also has a Minn Kota brand trolling motor.
The boat and trailer were towed away by the pictured white panel van. The van had LED headlights, damage to the side panels, and showed rust on the roof. The van was last seen moving westbound on Tchoupitoulas Street toward Nashville Avenue then unknown.
