At about 5:30 p.m., NOPD Seventh District officers responded to a call of shots fired at the location, Upon their arrival, officers located a black Dodge and a white Nissan that were involved in a crash on the interstate. On February 22, the Orleans Parish Coroner’s Office identified the deceased victims as 35-year-old Andrew Stiller and 21-year-old Johnnell Hampton and determined cause of death for both victims to be from gunshot wound injuries.

Through investigation, NOPD Homicide Unit detectives developed and positively identified Quinn as the perpetrator in this incident. An arrest warrant was then obtained on February 28 for Quinn on two counts of second-degree murder and three counts of attempted second-degree murder.
