NEW ORLEANS – The NOPD is seeking information to aid in locating and identifying a suspect(s) in the homicide of Keithroy Ambrose (DOB: 06-12-1942), which occurred on December 16, 2019.
At about 10:15 a.m. on the day of the incident, NOPD First District officers discovered a male victim was found shot multiple times inside of his residence in the 1700 block of North Dupre Street. The victim, later identified by the Orleans Parish Coroner’s Office as Ambrose, died from his injuries, at which time NOPD Homicide Unit detectives assume control of the investigation.
Surveillance video shows an unknown subject fleeing the area at approximately the time of the incident. The video can be viewed in the above player.
NOPD Homicide Unit detectives are seeking information from anyone who may have witnessed this incident or who may have knowledge of the incident or the subject seen in the video.
