ARRESTED: NOPD VOWS, U.S. Marshals Arrest Suspect in First District Hit-and-Run Crash

On March 23, 2020, members of the NOPD’s Violent Offender Warrant Squad and the U.S. Marshals arrested Christopher Anders (pictured, DOB: 12-28-1989) in the investigation of a hit-and-run crash that occurred on November 24, 2019 and left one adult male and one juvenile male seriously injured.

The NOPD has obtained arrest warrants for Hakeem Shawl (pictured at left, DOB: 09-06-1999), Don Robiho (pictured at right, DOB: 02-25-2000) and a known juvenile suspect in the investigation of a series of vehicle burglaries in the Second District that occurred on March 18, 2020.
