NOPD Seeking Person of Interest in Seventh District Homicide Investigation

The NOPD is seeking to locate and interview a person of interest identified in the ongoing investigation of a homicide that occurred at the intersection of Piper Lane and East Filmore Avenue on February 26, 2019

At around 6:21 p.m., NOPD Seventh District officers were dispatched to the location to a call of an aggravated battery by shooting. Upon arrival, they found an unidentified adult male lying in the street. The victim, later identified by the Orleans Parish Coroner’s Office as 20-year-old Jawan Bradley, was suffering from a gunshot wound(s) to the head and was pronounced dead at the scene.

The pictured person of interest is not currently wanted in connection with this incident. However, NOPD Homicide Unit detectives feel this subject has information pertinent to the investigation and wish to question this individual.
