NOPD Searches for Vehicle Wanted in Hit-and-Run

NOPD officers are searching for the driver of a white Infiniti QX80 with a Lusher (L) sticker on the back, after his alleged involvement in a hit-and-run incident.

On February 1, 2019, around 12:49 p.m., the victim reportedly stopped at the red light at the intersection of South Jefferson Davis and Earhart Boulevard, when the vehicle pictured above struck the victim’s rear bumper.

The pictured subject reportedly exited his vehicle and spoke with the victim, then returned to his vehicle, backed up and fled the scene on Thalia Street. The perpetrator is described as a medium build, middle aged black male.

Anyone with any information regarding the wanted subject should contact NOPD’s Hit and Run Division at 504-658-6214. Citizens with information that can help solve crimes are asked to call Crimestoppers at 504-822-1111 or toll-free at 1-877-903-STOP.
