Vehicle, Suspect Sought in Armed Carjacking on Frenchman Street

The NOPD is searching for a black, 2014 Nissan Altima that was taken during armed carjacking and the above pictured perpetrator wanted in the incident.

The incident happened on March 24, 2018. At around 4:57 a.m., the victim parked his vehicle in the 1000 block of Frenchman street while waiting to pick up passengers. As he was waiting, a blue-colored SUV stopped in the middle of the street and an unknown male subject exited the vehicle and approached the victim. He then demanded the victim to get out of his vehicle and the victim complied. The victim stated he observed a black handgun along the subject's waist. The suspect then entered the victim’s vehicle and fled the location.

The victim’s vehicle is described as a black 2014 Nissan Altima bearing Louisiana license plate #762AKD.
