Suspect Sought by NOPD in Auto Theft on Chef Menteur Highway

The NOPD is seeking to identify and locate the pictured individual in connection with an auto theft incident that occurred on January 18, 2018 in the 4500 block of Chef Menteur Highway.

The victim stated that at about 10:28 p.m., he was giving an unknown female a ride from a motel to the 4500 block of Chef Menteur Highway to pick up some snacks. The victim stated that as he walked into the store, the unknown female drove off in his vehicle without his permission. The victim added that he had earlier given the pictured subject and about five of her friends a ride to the motel.

On January 27, NOPD officers recovered the stolen vehicle in the 4800 block of Haydel Street, after a call from a citizen reporting that four people exited the vehicle at the location and fled the scene.
